Although I treasure each one through the years for different reasons, I admit when I think of Valentine's Day, my mind instantly goes back to the "shoe box" days! You know what I mean, right?

(Talk about handmade creations! Do kids still do this?)

So I wish each and every one of you a Valentine's Day filled with good wishes and lots of love! Hope you have a very happy weekend!

Yes, shoe box days are my first memories. Carefully decorating the shoe boxes at school, the glittery the better . . . and then waiting for (hopefully) lots of cards! One rule, though: if you had a box there, you had to put a card in everyone else's box! Fun days!
I like that, "the glittery the better...!" We didn't have the rule about putting a card in everyone's box, but we were encouraged to do so. Nothing would be sadder than an empty Valentine's card box! Thanks for commenting, Catherine! ~Sharyl
